What's the difference between VPS Clean and VPS Cloud?
VPS Clean gives you a blank machine: no control panel, no preinstalled software, with root access from minute one so you can configure it exactly how you want. VPS Cloud comes with the DirectAdmin panel already installed and management included (basic on the 4 GB plan, full on the 8 GB plan), built for people who'd rather manage domains, email and databases without touching a terminal.
Do I need to know Linux to use a VPS?
For VPS Clean, yes: there's no preinstalled panel, and you manage the operating system from the console. For VPS Cloud, not really — the DirectAdmin panel lets you create domains, email accounts and databases from a web interface, no terminal required.
Do I need to register a domain to order a VPS?
Not for VPS Clean: you set the hostname and root password directly, with no domain attached. VPS Cloud does ask for a domain during checkout, because the DirectAdmin panel is provisioned around it — you can use one you already own or register a new one.
How is billing handled, and is there a minimum term?
Choose the billing cycle you prefer: monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual. VPS Clean plans have no setup fee: you pay exactly the advertised price from the first month, no surprises on your first invoice.
Do the VPS plans include DDoS protection?
