From 1 November 2026, miHosting.com has updated its rates for .com domains. Registration now costs USD 14.95 for one year, while renewal costs USD 17.95 per year.
If you have a website, online store or project using this extension, include the new renewal rate in your budget.
New .com domain prices at miHosting.com
These rates apply from 1 November 2026:
| Service | Term | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Register a .com domain | One year | USD 14.95 |
| Renew a .com domain | One year | USD 17.95 |
All amounts are in United States dollars (USD).
Registration lets you buy an available domain name, such as example.com. Renewal extends a domain you already own so you can keep using it.
These are different services with different prices. When estimating the cost of keeping your project online, use the renewal rate for the years after registration.
Why .com domain prices are changing
This update follows a price increase announced for the .com extension by its registry operator, Verisign, effective 1 November 2026.
The registry operator manages a domain extension. For .com, that operator is Verisign, as shown in IANA’s .com record. miHosting.com lets you register and manage your domain.
The table above shows miHosting.com’s registration and renewal prices for this extension.
What to consider when registering or renewing
If you are registering a new name, check availability on our .com domains page. When planning your project, account for both the first-year cost and later renewals.
If you already have one or more .com domains, we recommend that you:
- Check each domain’s expiry date so you can plan its renewal.
- Update your budget using the new rate of USD 17.95 per domain per year. For example, renewing three .com domains for one year costs USD 53.85.
- Ask us about a specific invoice or renewal and include the domain name in your enquiry.
