What Is the Inode Limit on My Hosting Plan?
All of our hosting plans offer unlimited disk space and monthly transfer, but we do set reasonable limits on the number of inodes each customer can use. See the inode limits for every plan and learn how to increase them.
All of our hosting plans offer unlimited disk space as well as unlimited monthly transfer. However, we do set reasonable limits on the number of inodes each customer can use. These limits are based on the hosting plan.

Limit for unlimited resellers
Reseller contracts have the following limits:
- cPanel Resellers: 70,000 files per hosting account installed
- DirecAdmin Resllers:
- R1U: 300,000
- R2U: 800,000
- R3U: 2,500,000
For DirectAdmin servers, inodes can be distributed as the administrator sees fit. This limit can be increased through inode packages. Inode packages can be shared across all hosting accounts.
What is the limit for the free hosting service?
Each free hosting account has a maximum of 5,000 files.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I REACH THE SOFT LIMIT?
If you reach the soft limit, everything will keep working. But there is no guarantee that your service will complete its weekly backup process. In this situation, it’s important to either upgrade your plan or reduce the number of files in your hosting account.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I REACH THE HARD LIMIT?
In that case, you’ll need to upgrade to a higher plan, since you won’t be able to write any more files to your hosting account.
